Can someone say date night found and reserved? From the ultra sophisticated and “cultured” feel, this place is a must-try when you visit the great city of Houston. Kulture is a southern-style restaurant specializing in urban comfort food with a fusion twist. They have it down to a science, and I love it. The food, atmosphere, and quaint location are what make this place worth it. What I love about the food here is that it makes me feel like family. You’re all together for no reason other than to cook, eat, and laugh. If you grew up in a family with Cajun-style food as the center of the house, you know exactly what that feeling is, and you definitely find it here. With its amazing Louisiana-style spices and cozy, laid–back environment, you could find yourself spending hours just chatting it up with the lovely staff. Not to mention it’s BYOB at some locations.

# 1 – High Tide Harry’s:
Making the #1 spot! This place has great food, fresh daily seafood (no artificial crab), great prices, and is perfect for the whole family. When I visited, I could see that it was set up for singles and couples at the bar area, and for family dining right around the corner. There is also a pretty nice-sized deck to enjoy those beautiful sunny days. Now I understand that our restaurants above are not located near a fishing port because they are in Texas, but that is just another nice feature High Tide Harry’s has under its belt. Also, the prices here are the best. For the portion-to-price ratio, High Tide Harry’s has you covered. We are not sacrificing quality, authenticity, or cost with this restaurant.
