We’re gonna start with the foods you should STOP putting in your body. Before you can start something new you have to get rid of old habits that do not survive your new vision. So, start with a 14-day personal challenge to stop consuming the foods below. After the 14 days, it will be a little bit of a struggle to keep it up but give yourself time and keep going anyway. I still give myself cheat days on holidays to eat whatever my grandma cooks! You could even consider this a detox. But yes during this process you will fall in love with the taste of high-quality foods.
- No processed foods.(meaning no fast food) Restaurants are ok, just watch out for chain restaurants.
- No large amounts of dairy (cow milk and some other forms like almond milk as well)
- No white bread
- No soda
- No junk food (chips, cakes, donuts, cookies, candy, or dairy ice cream)
- No high amounts of salt or sodium-rich foods

- Peanut butter/Almond butter (for some people)
- Nuts/Walnuts
- Egg whites
- Brown rice
- Raw oats
- Spinach

- Fatty Fish
- Skinless chicken (if you eat chicken)

(P.S. – I personally stick to the Target, Whole Foods, Trader Goods & Tom Thumb generic brands)
With these foods, you can create balanced meals and snacks that do not add unnecessary trans or processed fat to your body. Add these foods to your breakfast menu, lunch & dinner, and feel the difference after 14 days. Will you have a completely flat belly right away? No, but you will see a difference! The more good you do for your body the faster you will see good results. This is a fact! Also, “healthy” foods do not mean a boring food life! The most colorful and best-tasting dishes I have had came straight from my parent’s kitchen or mine! The standard Fast Food life is very boring compared to this, I promise.

My top favorite go-to infused water combos is the simple lemon & lime combo, blackberries & lemon, and lime & mint!

Track and take pics! Don’t forget to take before and after so you can track your progress. Get a mini journal and take measurements as well. The journey will not be noticeable at first and sometimes you will feel like nothing is happening but it is.
